Transition Calendar
Please see the transition calendar for new Primary 1 children joining Eastbank Primary School. I hope this information gives an outline of everything we have planned in order to get to know you and your child:

November
|
- Eastbank will contact Early Learning Centres (ELC) to gain information about your child and find out if any arrangements for an enhanced transition are required.

February
|
- Eastbank will contact ELCs requesting information about your child.
- Transition posters will be shared with your child’s ELC.
|
|
March
|
- Eastbank will begin to collate information about the children that will make up the Primary 1 year group.
- Transition calendar shared with ELCs and families.
- Parents/carers receive an email inviting you to Eastbank for your child’s induction days.
- Enhanced transition visits will begin for children as agreed with their ELC.

April
|
- Eastbank staff will visit your child in their ELC and speak to nursery staff that work with your child.
- Your child’s welcome guide will be posted to you along with activities related to our transition theme, ‘The Everywhere Bear.’
- You will be emailed a link for you to complete your child’s enrolment. This information will be gathered using Microsoft Forms.

- Induction Day 1: End of May, 1:45pm-2:45pm
- Induction Day 2: Beginning June, 1:45pm-2:45pm

August
|
- Future P7 buddies will visit some of the ELCs for a Teddy Bear Picnic.
