Healthy Heroes

The Healthy Heroes Council have been working hard to come up with ways to encourage our school to live a healthier lifestyle. We are going to be introducing 'Fruity Fridays' and encouraging children to bring a piece of fruit for snack on a Friday. 

Hidden Garden Eco Warriors

The Hidden Garden Eco Warriors are working hard to make our school grounds a place in which we can learn in but also enjoy. We will share our whole school litter campaign and promote the use of our class recycling bags too.

Inclusive Innovators
with Mr Cairns

Inclusive Innovators are working with the Eastbank Equality Explorers to make Eastbank Primary as inclusive and equal as possible. We have been working hard to establish our group through the creation of logos, posters and mottos. We look forward to welcoming the whole school to our Anti-Bullying Week assembly and involving everyone in further learning activities.

Knit Wits
with Miss Hoy and Miss Nadeem

The Knit Wits is a group where the children can learn all about knitting and sewing with the help of some parent and grandparent helpers.  The children will learn new skills, problem solve and create a knitted piece of their very own by the end of the 4 weeks.

Mindfulness Moments

We are learning to practice mindfulness which can help us notice and manage our emotions. Being mindful can help us build key skills like focus, self-control, and compassion.
